Wizard Form Surface Controls

  

Details icon

  • Location: Top left file menu.
  • What it does: Opens the form details.
  • How to use it: Click the icon, edit details, click OK, and save.



Search in Design icon

  • Location: Top left file menu (second from left).
  • What it does: Allows you to search for nodes and attributes using their values.
  • How to use it: Click the icon, enter the Node Name, Attribute Name, select the operator, and provide the value. Click Search.
  • Other notes: You may also add a permanent filter using the Add Filter button.



Save icon

  • Location: Top left file menu (third from left).
  • What it does: Saves the selected open file.
  • How to use it: Click the icon.
  • Other notes: Files with unsaved changes have an asterisk next to the file title in the top right corner. Saving removes the asterisk.



Undo icon

  • Location: Top left file menu (fourth from left).
  • What it does: Undoes changes.
  • How to use it: Click the icon.
  • Other notes: Undoes the most recent change. Undoes more than one change.



Redo icon

  • Location: Top left file menu (fifth from left).
  • What it does: Redoes the undone change.
  • How to use it: Click the icon.



Quick Navigator

  • Location: Top left file menu (sixth from left).
  • What it does: Allows quick access to navigate to any control added on the form.
  • How to use it: Click the icon, expand the container, and select the control you want to navigate to.



Form Title

  • Location: Center of the file menu title bar.
  • What it does: Identifies the form you are configuring as well as whether it has unsaved changes.
  • How to use it: If the title has an asterisk at the end, the form has unsaved changes. If it doesn't, there are no unsaved changes.



Entity link

  • Location: Top right file menu (first from left).
  • What it does: Opens the entity.
  • How to use it: Click the entity name to open.



Validate icon

  • Location: Top right file menu (second from left).
  • What it does: Configures validation to be applied on a New button.
  • How to use it: Click the icon, enter the details, and click OK.



View this form with highlighted attributes

  • Location: Top right file menu (third from left).
  • What it does: Highlights form elements with the selected attributes like Visible Rule, Readonly Rule.
  • How to use it: Click the icon and select the attribute.



Switch back to normal view

  • Location: Top right file menu (third from left).
  • What it does: Changes the view of the form from highlighted to normal.
  • How to use it: Click the icon.
  • Other notes: It appears only when viewing the form with highlighted attributes.



Load Details icon

  • Location: Top right file menu (fourth from left).
  • What it does: Allows you to load each object or collection in Update Auto or New Auto mode.
  • How to use it: Click the icon.



Wizard Properties icon

  • Location: Top right file menu (fifth from left).
  • What it does: Opens the wizard properties.
  • How to use it: Click the icon.



View Source

  • Location: Top right file menu (sixth from left).
  • What it does: Displays source view.
  • How to use it: Click the icon.



View Design

  • Location: Top right file menu (first from left).
  • What it does: Displays design view.
  • How to use it: Click the icon.
  • Other notes: Appears when you click the View Source icon.



Pin File icon

  • Location: Top right file menu (seventh from left).
  • What it does: Allows you to pin files to the dashboard.
  • How to use it: Click the icon.



Close File icon

  • Location: Top right file menu (first from right).
  • What it does: Closes the form.
  • How to use it: Click the icon.
  • Other notes: Save before you close.



Move Down icon

  • Location: Wizard panel.
  • What it does: Moves selected step down.
  • How to use it: Select a step and click the icon.



Move Up icon

  • Location: Wizard panel.
  • What it does: Moves selected step up.
  • How to use it: Select a step and click the icon.



Minus icon

  • Location: Wizard panel.
  • What it does: Deletes the step.
  • How to use it: Select a step and click the icon.



Header Template

  • Location: Wizard steps.
  • What it does: Displays header.
  • How to use it: Click to open the header for editing.



Add Wizard Step

  • Location: Wizard steps.
  • What it does: Adds the step.
  • How to use it: Roll over the space between two steps.
