Once the BPM has been deployed to the application, you can further configure how it behaves in the application itself. Under the BPM menu, there are ten default menu items that link to screens associated with processes. They are:
- My Basket: This is where users can view the work assigned or available to them. They can launch the screen for working or check out the work available in the pool.
- Reassign Work: This is where users can manually move an assigned activity from one user to another. This is usually an authorized user like a supervisor or manager.
- Case Initiation: This is where users can manually initiate a process outside of its triggering event.
- Case Configuration: This is where users can search for the latest deployed BPM maps.
- Case Instance: This is where users can search for initiated instances of the latest deployed BPM map and drill down to view the details of the case.
- Process Configuration: This is where users can search for any deployed BPM map and drill down for further configuration.
- Escalations: This is where users can configure what happens if an SLA timer on a user task expires.
- Process Escalation: This is where users can configure what happens if an SLA timer on a process expires.
- Process Instance: This is where users can search for initiated instances of any deployed BPM map and drill down to view the status of the process.
- Events: This is where users can configure BPM dependency on the receipt of a document or similar event.
