Introduction
There are times when you may not have the table already created before you want to start working with an entity in S3. This is a way to start the work and then link the entity to a table at a later date.

Detailed Steps
Step 1. Click the Create New File icon.
After opening S3, click the icon in the top right corner to begin creating files.
Step 2. Select the drop down option.
Step 3. Enter the entity details.
The important properties are:
- Name(ID): It names the entity, which will be referenced in all future steps.
- Path: Specifies the location for entity. You can either choose an existing folder or create a new one.
You could also enter a description of the entity. You won’t use the Table and Business Object properties, because at this point you are not linking this entity anywhere.
Step 4. Click Finish.
This closes the wizard and opens the entity file.
